Sometimes

Sometimes in this life we look at other people and say ,if i was them i would do things like this or do things this way.or you should do this.it is easy to sit and judge somebody about things especially if we have not been through it our self.For example telling somebody how to raise their kids ,when you don't have any yourself.We were all sinners .Sin is sin,one sin is just as bad as the other.So,before we judge people we should sometimes look back at what God has brought us from.And sometimes i just get so sick of being sick .I long to go home.Buy sometimes like the preacher said tonight we have to go through things for others,maybe it is not for our self all the time.Sometimes we get s sick and in so much pain in this body that we think we can't go on,the thing to remember is for those who are saved is one day we will have a glorified body with no more sickness or pain until then please keep me in your prayers. Wow !!!!!!!!!!!!

We are in revival at the Benham park at 6:30 and if you have missed it ,you have missed some great services.Tonight we had two children come to God. I think that is awesome,God is still in the saving business.If you have been reading my blog then you know that sometimes i am a crybaby.tonight was no different.These are tears of joy.How long has it been since God has washed your face.I don't mean with water ,i mean with tears.The Holy Spirit was moving tonight,it was cold ,but when God's Spirit moves it will warm you up.Jesus is my Lord and Savior and He can be yours to.Please come out and worship with us and let's give God all the glory and honor he deserves.I hope to see you there,everyone is welcome, God Bless

Job

Did you know if you are saved that the devil goes before God and accuses us?The devil tells God all of our faults.We need to have such a close walk with God, that when satan does this that God can say to him have you considered my servant(your name here),just like Job.It would be awesome to be that close to God and we can be.Job was upright before God,just look at what all he went through and still he kept the faith and continued to serve God.Today we are so weak as christians that we are looking for excuses to stop serving God or even going out to His house.Not going through a drop in the bucket of what Job did,like if it looks like rain.I think i will stay home because I might get wet and if I get wet it will make me sick,but if it is something we want to do it is different,i can almost guarantee you if we wanted to go to the walmart,rain or maybe even a snowstorm wouldn't stop us.What i am saying we can't pick and choose what we do for God,we have to be led by Him and do what he says regardless of weather ,or we want to ,or feel like it.The Bible says obedience is better than sacrifice.so we need to obey God.and stop with all the excuses.Everybody has them(excuses)but think about it why is there any sense in giving excuses to man,when God knows what the intents of our heart is and if we can do what we need to be doing or not.God has heard them all,but there are times that we really can't,then there are times we can and just don't.Do you think that God would have told satan to consider Job if he was like us?Let's try to serve God and get in the position in our life that God can use us and be proud of us,just like Job. WWJD

We have all heard WWJD (What Would Jesus Do)and it is true we should ask ourselves WWJD.We should also do what Jesus would do.Sometimes it is hard,but we should still try.and sometimes we need to ask ourselves wwyd ( what would you do)what would you do if you are doing something you shouldn't like drinking something you shouldn't,or looking at something you shouldn't.what would you do if Jesus came back while we are doing things we shouldn't be doing,what would we say.one thing is for sure we are not going to lie to The King Of Kings.what i am trying to say is be careful because the devil is sneaky he can make things seem right that aren't.Keep your eyes on Jesus ,tell the devil to get behind you.don't let him in front so he can block your view of Jesus ,put him in his place.and live your life for God.Keep the faith. About the Fathers business

Yesterday we did something that we haven't done in a while,we went out on visitation.We had a great time going door to door handing out tractsand inviting people to church.The Biblr says go out and compel them to come in that His house might be filled.If we don't do that then we are not doing our job for Jesus.That is what all of our jobs that are saved is to go out nd tell the lost about Jesus.If we don't the devil will be out there doing his job wether we do or not.So tell somebody about Jesus today. are you going to F.R.O.G

Here it is another day that has passed and Jesus has not returned.Did you let another opportunity pass by without meeting Jesus,i sure hope not.i have a need in my life and i am going to F.R.O.G for it.(Fully Rely On God)God has blessed me more than i deserve or could ever repay,but God wants us to rely on Him for our needs.when you get in a tough spot you always relied on your parents to get you through it,that is the way God is He is our Heavenly Father.if you are saved and have a need or problem F.R.O.G. for it.i have had several people recently ask me to pray for them,if you would i would ask that you help me in praying for these people God knows the need in their lives and who they are so please ,when you pray lift them up before Jesus.and a very special friend to me who i just recently found out is my cousin to just lost his mother ,so please remember him and their family, and i can always use your prayers. Can You Hear It ?

Can you hear it?it is a still small voice inside telling you what you need to do .have you ever heard it ,like when you go to church and you hear it telling you come to me.it is the Holy Spirit calling you.we need to listen when God talks to us.has someone ever been talking to you and you are not really paying attention or only hear half of what they say.we don't need to be that way with God ,because ignoring God can really get us in trouble.if we take the time and really listen he will tell us things that are for our own good.you know it is one thing just typing on here ,but when you see God working and doing things in your life it is amazing.and when you feel like you are at the end of your rope don't let go and give up just tie a knot in the end of it and hang on because God will save you . God knows

God knows the intents of our heart.He knows when we do things we shouldn't .sometimes in our christian life we slip up and do things or say things we shouldn't but we are not perfect ,but we are forgiven if we ask.we don't need to dwell on our past or mistakes we make.we need to ask forgiveness and move on and be a witness for Jesus.lost people and sometimes even christians are watching and waiting for us to mess up.we need to be careful because we are all the bible some people are ever going to read .i mean how we live our lives we should strive for perfection eventhough on this side of life we will never be perfect.i think it's time we get serious in our walk with God and be serious,people are dying lost everyday ask yourself have i witnessed to anybody today.God has been so good to us don't you want other people to feel the joy and peace we feel as christians,in this life if yuo are a sinner you are afraid to die and if you admit it or not you are miserable.if you are saved you are not afraid to die because we have heaven to gain,what i am trying to say is let's stop playing around this is serious times the end is closer now than it has ever been,let's stop playing church and be about the Fathers business and finally ler's all get a burden for the lost and go out and tell them about Jesus God bless

Just Suppose

just think for a minute how we are as Christians.christian means to be Christ like,but how many of us are doing our job.are we really being like Jesus.when you go to church ,inside the church it is easy living the life and talking the talk.it's when we go out into the world is when all the problems start.we read in the bible all the examples that Jesus left for us to follow, not only Jesus ,but there are all kinds of people that were written about.now just suppose that the bible was still being wrote today what kind of reading would it be about if it were our lives that were being wrote about to give others an example.would it be when i am in church i shout the house down, or i only go to church every once in a while to convince people i am serving the way i should.there are a lot of reasons we can use but all they are is excuses.even though the bible is already written everyday of our live is like an open book how we walk with God.sometimes we can fool people ,but we can't fool God he reads us like a book everyday.so let's try our best to set an example like the people of old and try to lead others to Jesus. Homecoming

Our church will be in homecoming this weekend.it is a time i look forward to we have visiting preachers and food and fellowship.but this is nothing compared to the homecoming we that are saved are going to have someday.can you imagine living with Jesus for eternity.and the gold that we consider so precious on this earth up in heaven is just something we will walk on because the streets will be gold up there.i am not getting use to this place because this world is not my home i am just passing through for one day i will go to my Father's house and that will be a true homecoming. Youth Lock In

we had our youth lock in this past Friday night.we had a blast we are kind of a small youth but that is alright God is blessing us.it is starting to pickup on attendance.we had a lesson, then food and games pretty much all night.we had fun.god has given me a burden for our youth because they are tomorrows church if the Lord tarries on his return.a lot of people don't want to be bothered with children but i feel this is one of my callings in God's ministry.we have a great bunch of kids and everyone participated in the activities in one way or another.in a lot of youth groups and even churches you have what i call cliques or groups of people you only want around,but i thank God that our youth is not like that,when i went to youth when i was younger we had a saying (the spirit of unity)if you are around our kids you can see that they really do have a spirit of unity.i want to thank all those that donated, helped out ,and brought their kids to the lock in it was truly a blessing.most of all i want to thank God for allowing me to have the position that i am in and for every child i get to teach his word it is one thing to have them just sit there and listen,but when you see them lift their small hands up and start praising God it is just awesome . keep praying for our youth ministry and for not only our kids .but for the children all over the world .thank you God Bless

Are you ready?

These are troubling and depressing times as i sit here just thinking about how the world is.but i am not depressed but i am troubled kind of because some of my loved ones are lost without Jesus.I know it can"t be long until my savior comes and gets me,you to if you are saved.you may get tired of hearing it ,but it is true.don't consider getting saved just because he is returning or you are afraid of dying give your heart to God so you can live.it's not an easy life but living a sinful life is not either when you are saved you have benefits that are greater than any you could get from the world.number one we are going to get to go to heaven and see our Lord.two if we are God's children just like we that are parents want to give our children things ,God wants to give us things to and theses are his blessings.if we will trust in God and have the faith he will take care of us.i don't get use to living here with all the troubles because this world is not my home and all these things will pass away someday but when we go to be with Jesus all those things are eternal,please don't wait to late to pray.don't wait for a death bed confession, or when something bad happens to pray because we don't have the promise that we will die that way ,or have time and God's spirit may not be dealing with us.i have a sticker that reads those who wait to pray in the eleventh hour sometimes die at 10:30.wont you try Jesus what have you got to lose every body sees the shape the world is in .try Jesus you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. here we are about to go into revival and i have to say i feel pretty good about it. i for one need it ,but we don't have to wait for revival to be revived all we have to do is ask God and mean it and he will stir our hearts.if we as Christians would get on fire for God the way we should be we could change the world.if everyone that said they are Christians would obey God we could do anything.with twelve men Jesus turned the world upside down.you might think that well his disciples had Jesus with them and all the people saw all of his miracles and things.the bible says God is no respect of persons,and God is the same yesterday today and forever which means he does not change . if he done it for them he will do it for us today if we would just believe and trust God.so i pray if you are reading this and are lost that you will accept Jesus into your heart before it is to late.so please come out and support the revival and bring somebody with you God bless

doing what we are supposed to

sometimes in our christian life we want to stray off to the side of the road for a bit and not listen to what God is telling us.in other words we are just flat out disobeying God.all throughout the bible we read about people that disobey God and some of them pay for it dearly like samson , Jonah, adam and eve just to name a few.the bible says God is no respect of persons and that means he will not do for one person that he would not do for another so will we be punished for disobedience you better believe it it is time to get serious with God before it is to late.and again God is no respect of persons and there are many examples of the faithful and obedient in the bible and they were greatly blessed .what i am asking you is would you rather be punished or blessed the choice is ours.and you may think God loves me and wouldn't punish me because i am his child,well all the other people in the bible were still his children to but were punished because of disobedience and again God is no respect of persons.we must choose this day whom we will serve and which way we are going to walk in our daily lives,so if you haven't been listening to God try listening for a change and you will see that his blessings are much better than his punishment God bless
